Barbara completed BA (Joint Hons) in Law and Applied Philosophy at Middlesex University, London in 2001 and Postgraduate Diploma in LPC at the College of Law, Store Street.

Barbara specialises in family law and is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) an organisation of specialist family Lawyers committed to a constructive approach to the practice of family law.  Barbara deals with a wide variety of matters, including divorce and separation, civil partnership, cohabitation, prenuptial agreements,financial settlement applications, domestic violence and immigration, and in particular in cases involving human rights aspects and a range of children issues. Many of Barbara’s cases have international aspect. Barbara has significant experience in dealing with complex financial proceedings, many of her cases often have international aspect ad include dealing with complex assets structures, international asset-tracing, financial non-disclosure, cases involving third parties, maintenance regulations and overseas property.

Barbara also undertakes commercial and civil litigation work and has dealt with a number of high value litigation matters. She has a special interest in the intellectual property law.

She has an expert knowledge in a broad spectrum of UK immigration law with particular emphasis on immigration appeals, judicial review and Court of Appeal applications and extensive experience in both personal and corporate immigration, having previously worked for one of the country’s leading immigration city law firms. She established a successful immigration appeal department and boasted high success within this field in the last firm she worked for. Barbara is well regarded for her meticulous attention to details and was praised on many occasions by the Immigration Judges in the Tribunals' determinations for the clarity and presentation of the case. Barbara contributes to articles to the press and also represents clients before Asylum and Immigration Chambers (previously AIT).
